Kellan said earlier this week that he finds the whole situation "comical", insisting he and the 'Wrecking Ball' star are just pals... but he didn't seem to find it funny when Perez alleged on his blog today that they are friends with benefits.
"She says she’s using him for sex," the blogger's ropey source claimed. "But she’s starting to care about him. He just sees her as another conquest."
A fan told Perez to "Shut up!" when he tweeted it to the ex-Twilight hunk with the message "Condoms are important!", prompting Kellan to reply himself.
"Thank you Kay [the fan], I find Perez and his "insiders" very inappropriate. Just rude," he blasted.
Perez replied: "So you're saying you don't like condoms?" Oh dear.
Kellan seemed to step out of the situation at that point, but Perez carried on bickering with his fans, insisting: "I'm a fan of his and have always supported him. But I do not give three f**ks if he likes me or not. I do my job."
The hunk did, however, share an inspirational tweet from another account, reading: "One's dignity may be assaulted, vandalized and cruelly mocked, but cannot be taken away unless it is surrendered."
