'I love you': Now Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun reaches out to the troubled star on Twitter: 'I love you'

Justin Bieber's manager has spoken out on on Twitter after the singer was charged with drink driving, resisting arrest and drag racing in Miami, Florida on Thursday morning.

Scooter Braun, 32, - who has been described by Justin as his 'father figure' - tweeted: 'love you and i will act in the manner of someone who truly cares.'

He added: 'that is all I have to say. thanks for all those concerned'.

Scooter's tweets seems to imply that the manager is not currently with Justin, who was released yesterday on $2,500 bail.

Access Hollywood also reports that Scooter has given Justin an 'ultimatum over his behaviour'.

Last November, Scooter opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about his strained relationship with the young star.

He said: 'When Justin was younger, it was, "Keep him out of trouble, stop him from falling down, protect him as much as you can from anything that can hurt him."

Adding: 'When I try to do that now, he’s resentful, he pushes away and rebels. What I’ve come to learn is: "Be there, give the best advice you can, but he has to be allowed to make his own decisions – and his own mistakes."'

'I saw the rebellion, I saw our relationship being hurt. We were struggling in talking to each other because I wasn’t having conversations about anything good anymore. It was constantly calling to say, "No!"'

Justin also spoke to the publication in a joint interview and agreed with his comments.

He said: 'Scooter was like the father figure in my life. But when I started to grow up, it was hard for him to have to listen to my input.'

'I want to be me, to show everybody who I am as an individual. I don’t want to just be a puppet.'

Meanwhile Justin's recent arrest has been the subject of mockery from talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

Jimmy joked: 'Of course he failed a field sobriety test, the kid’s pants are half way down his ankles.'

And added of his mug shot: 'That’s the smile of a boy who doesn’t have to call his mother for bail money.'
