Call girl accused of injecting Google exec with fatal heroin dose is arrested

Google executive Forrest Timothy Hayes, 51, was found dead on his 50-yacht of a heroin overdose and his high-priced prostitute whom he met online is allegedly to blame. The yacht's name: Escape.

The San Jose Mercury News reports that Santa Cruz police have since arrested a 26-year-old Alix Catherine Tichelman of Georgia, who allegedly fled the yacht after she shot heroin into the tech executive who overdosed in the Nov. 26 incident.

The newspaper said police identified Tichelman from a yacht security video and they tracked her down and lured her back to Santa Cruz County in a prostitution sting at a lavish hotel.
Tichelman was recently arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder, destruction of evidence and transporting and providing narcotics, police said.

The surveillance video from the boat shows that Hayes was "suffering medical complications" and lost consciousness after Tichelman shot him with the heroin dose she had procured, the newspaper wrote.

She made no effort to help him, and instead gathered her belongings and even gulped a glass of wine before she drew a window blind and left, the newspaper added of the security video depiction.

"It's an amazing case," Santa Cruz Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark is quoted as saying.
Asked by the newspaper if Tichelman was trying to kill Hayes or if the overdose was accidental, Clark said the evidence showed a level of guilt that reached second-degree murder rather than involuntary manslaughter.

"She did some cleaning. She took some evidence from the scene," Clark said. "She showed no regard for him. She was just trying to cover her tracks."

Hayes' body was discovered dead the next morning by the boat's captain.
